Terms of Service

The service

Riffaro is a voice character for live streams. It reacts to donations and chat, talks with the streamer and can run games and auctions in Twitch chat. Riffaro is in early access: we admit streamers one by one, features change and the service can be unavailable at times.

Riffaro is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will announce the prices before they apply, and you can stop using the service instead of paying.

Your account

You sign in with Twitch. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Keep access to your Twitch account and your computer secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your broadcast and generated content

The character's lines are generated by AI models. They can be inaccurate, unexpected or inappropriate. You decide what goes on your broadcast: Riffaro lets you review, edit, skip and pause reactions, and you are responsible for the content you publish, including generated lines.

You must follow the rules of Twitch, DonationAlerts and every other platform you use with Riffaro, and the laws that apply to your broadcast. Tell your viewers that an AI character reads donations and chat on your channel and remembers conversations.

Acceptable use

You must not use Riffaro to:

• harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or to publish illegal content;
• impersonate a real person, or imitate a person's voice without their consent;
• collect data about viewers for purposes other than running your stream;
• interfere with the service, bypass its limits or access other accounts;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

Content and rights

You keep the rights to your content: your settings, prompts, character descriptions and what you say. You give us permission to process that content only to provide Riffaro to you.

You may use the lines and audio Riffaro generates for you on your streams and recordings. We keep the rights to the Riffaro software, brand and characters.

Third-party services

Riffaro works with Twitch, DonationAlerts, AI model providers and voice synthesis providers. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability.

Ending access

You can stop using Riffaro at any time. Riffaro does not yet let you delete your account yourself; the Privacy Policy explains how to ask about your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use harms the service or other people, or if we stop offering Riffaro. When we end the service, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

Disclaimers and liability

Riffaro is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost revenue, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms. We update the date at the top and announce significant changes on this page before they take effect. If you keep using Riffaro after that, the new terms apply.
